DRx’s “CAMP ROMANELLI” collection for BARNEYS , Japan
I took a similar approach with Camp Romanelli as I do with all of my collections. Identify the main theme, as in this case, the Boy Scouts, take enough time to research the theme , lock in on a few components of Scout culture/history as design themes , embrace/digest the key inspiration which in this case was the significant colors found with the Scout patches, bandana’s, etc… and from there build the collection focusing on the many vintage details/stories as the main source of inspiration.
So many cool stories found on each individual Boy Scout piece via the amount of patches they earned, achievements they accomplished. Take a look …
